Where Could I Hide?

I found this song I wrote years ago for my pastors and now it's speaking directly to me! Jesus, I can't walk away! Where could I hide??

There are times when I am weary
And my labour is in vain
When my strength amounts to nothing
And my thoughts are full of pain
But I know Who formed me
And I know Who shapes me
I know Who knows my name
And He won’t walk away

Where could I hide from Your Spirit
Where could I run from Your Presence
If I look up to the heavens You are there

Then the Lord said when it’s My time

An answer for My people

You Mean the World to Him

I can’t believe what’s happening to me
The lives that once consumed my mind
Have blown off in the breeze
And I am left behind
Just flying blind
Not sure which way to turn
Coz I’ve been driven by
My heart’s desire
To let you know
You mean the world to Him

For God so loved the world He gave
His Son, His soul, to meet the grave
To overcome the guilt, the shame
Remove the stain, rewrite your name
To walk the path, with strength untold
Entwined within the Father’s hold

Enjoying the View

I've spent the years running
Like I've only one gear
It's fast and it's hard
And it's driven by fear
But now that my engine
Has slowly lost fuel
I'm stalled at the lights
And I'm watching the view

And all that I see
Is so beautiful
It's fashioned by God
And it shows off His skill
And if I could rewind
The years that have flown by
I know I'd spend more time
Enjoying the view

I’ve peered into people
Feeling drawn to their pain
So desperate to change
All that I see as chains
But now that I’ve nothing
No strength to undo
I’m done with the fixing
And I’m looking at you

You're all that I see

Leaving the Zoo

When you've taken up residence in a cage for a while, it can get comfortable. Breaking free can be a little like leaving the zoo...

Here I sit upon the floor
An empty room, an open door
How to walk from here to there I know
Will take a strength beyond my own

Teach Us

Some they dream of Heaven
A place where there’s no tears
A place where there’s no loneliness
And nothing left to fear
But me I dream of this world
The way it was made to be
A world where we serve Jesus Christ as King

I Lift Up My Eyes

He will not let my foot be moved

Covers me day and night
Preserving the deep parts of me

I lift up my eyes to the hills
I know where my help comes from
The maker of all that surrounds me
Is the one who I know as my Lord

Why do I doubt, why do I fear?

I met with Him thismorning

Asked God to help me through the day

You've Given
