Enjoying the View

I've spent the years running
Like I've only one gear
It's fast and it's hard
And it's driven by fear
But now that my engine
Has slowly lost fuel
I'm stalled at the lights
And I'm watching the view

And all that I see
Is so beautiful
It's fashioned by God
And it shows off His skill
And if I could rewind
The years that have flown by
I know I'd spend more time
Enjoying the view

Feeling drawn to their pain
So desperate to change
All that I see as chains
But now that I’ve nothing
No strength to undo
