The Source

I wonder if you know
Just who your life has touched
Whose day was changed
When you stepped in
To you it won’t seem much
To them their life has been enriched
Their mind has been renewed
The thoughts that had been haunting them
No longer to endure
But cast away
Replaced by hope
Replaced by something greater still
A space now filled
With words of life
With drive to overcome the strife
To rise above the obstacles
To soar so high
The troubles shrink
Replaced by thirst
For them to drink
More words of life
And draw them to
The Saviour’s side
The Source whose water
Won’t run dry
